Four #1 seeds heading to San Antonio. I think it's the first time the four top seeds have played in the Final Four. And that Curry was very impressive! |

all the pundits thought all #1's would make it. strange that the only good regional final was ku/davidson, they being the highest seed left. i thought texas would show up but they didn't. well deep in the closet i do have a ku shirt. went to college in kansas so i guess i'll cheer for them. does anyone kno the only kansas coach with a losin' record???

kansas coach with a losing record? nope. but i have heard it IS the first NCAA Tourney with 4 #1 seeds in the final 4. that's weird. i haven't watched very much college basketball in recent years. it used to be my most watched sport. honestly, i never knew who tyler hansbrough was till this year. hard to believe a big white boy with guard skills is player of the year. all i keep picturing is his late game-winning shot celebration he had in... i think it might have been the acc finals? he needs to not celebrate as he runs up the court. one of his teammates tried to grab him as if to say, "dude, calm down, you're embarassing yourself!" ![]() i think carolina will beat kansas and then memphis in the finals, but it really seems up in the air... any one of them could win it. should be interesting. and don't think i wasn't pulling for davidaon against the jayhawks. wth was the coach thinking, having curry go one on one and try to get himself open for a late, game-winner? as if he wasn't going to get doubled! BAD BAD coaching move. you know what, though? i watched curry, closely in that second half, and he wasn't moving anywhere NEAR what he had been in the tourney, to that point, without the ball. he seemed... lazy, or tired, maybe.

i read sumwhere the coach thought better to have the ball in curry's hands than try to get the ball TO him to shoot. kansas got to be much more physical with him off the ball. the worst part of college hoops as it becomes much more physical the refs can decide the games. it was fun to hear the talkin' heads be so apologetic 'bout screwin' the 'cuse last year. tip toed for weeks then threw them under the bus again anyway!! quiz answer dr. naismith, yes! that dr. naismith!!!
